OVERVIEW

The SM4 Sports C-Ball Jig Head is handmade in New Jersey for saltwater anglers who want a simple, heavy-duty jig for working soft plastics, Gulp!, strip baits, and other bottom-fishing presentations.

Each jig is individually poured from lead around an 8/0 Mustad saltwater hook and left unpainted for a clean, no-nonsense setup. Available in 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 oz, the different weights allow anglers to adjust their presentation for changing depth, current, drift speed, and fishing conditions.

Use the lighter sizes when less weight is needed to maintain contact and step up to the heavier sizes as depth, current, or drift speed increases.

Unlike products we source from outside manufacturers, SM4 Sports makes and stocks these C-Ball Jigs in-house. Each jig is poured, inspected, stocked, and shipped directly by SM4 Sports in New Jersey.

IMPORTANT RIGGING REQUIREMENT

Proper knot alignment is required for the C-Ball Jig to fish correctly.

Your connection must allow the fishing line or leader to pull straight from the hook eye. If the knot settles to one side of the eye and creates an off-center pull, the jig can rotate and run on its side instead of maintaining its intended orientation.

After tying your jig:

• Make sure the knot is positioned so the line pulls straight from the eye
• Do not fish the jig with the knot pulling hard from one side of the hook eye
• Check the knot position periodically while fishing
• Recheck the connection after catching a fish, snagging bottom, or making hard contact with structure
• Reposition or retie the connection if the jig begins running on its side

An improperly positioned knot can cause the jig to turn onto its side. This is a rigging issue and does not indicate a defective jig.

Standard orders can be placed directly through the website based on available inventory.

For orders requiring more than 20 jigs of any one weight, please contact SM4 Sports before placing your order.

For example, an order for 10 × 2 oz and 10 × 4 oz can be placed normally. An order requesting 25 × 4 oz should be discussed with us first.

Large-quantity orders may require additional production time depending on current inventory, order volume, and the quantity requested.

Please contact SM4 Sports for availability and estimated production time on quantities exceeding 20 jigs of a single weight.

HANDMADE PRODUCT NOTICE

Because these jig heads are individually poured rather than mass-produced, minor cosmetic variations may occur from jig to jig. Small variations in the appearance of the lead do not affect normal fishing performance.
