Daiwa Saltist Back Bay LT 4000 Spinning Reel – STTBB4000LT

The Daiwa Saltist Back Bay LT 4000 Spinning Reel – STTBB4000LT is built specifically for light-tackle inshore and back-bay saltwater fishing. Its combination of an aluminum body, Magsealed protection and precision gearing makes it well suited for anglers targeting striped bass, fluke, weakfish, redfish and other inshore species.

Daiwa's HARDBODYZ construction uses an aluminum metal alloy body to provide a rigid platform for the reel's internal components while keeping weight to 10.6 oz. The rigid body helps maintain proper gear alignment when the reel is under load.

A Magsealed main shaft uses Daiwa's magnetic oil technology to help reduce saltwater and contaminant intrusion while maintaining smooth operation. This added protection is especially valuable for reels regularly exposed to spray and demanding saltwater environments.

The machined aluminum alloy DigiGear™ is engineered for efficient gear-tooth engagement and smooth power transfer. A 5.6:1 gear ratio retrieves 35.3 inches of line per crank, while the drag system delivers up to 15.4 lb of maximum drag.
