OVERVIEW

The Abu Garcia Max SX 2000 Spinning Reel delivers a compact, lightweight setup designed for finesse fishing and other light freshwater applications.

Inspired by Abu Garcia’s Revo® and Zenon™ spinning platforms, the Max SX uses an A-Symmetric graphite frame and rotor along with V-Rotor and V-Spool designs to create a compact reel weighing just 7.5 ounces.

A 6+1 steel bearing system supports smooth operation, while the 5.2:1 gear ratio retrieves 25 inches of line per turn. The 2000-size reel provides up to 6.5 pounds of maximum drag and is sized for lighter lines and finesse presentations.

Rocket Line Management™ and Rocket Spool Lip Design™ help control line during casting and retrieval. The machined aluminum braid-ready spool accommodates braided line, while an aluminum handle and soft-touch knob provide comfortable control throughout the retrieve.
