OVERVIEW

The Abu Garcia Max Elite 4000H Spinning Reel combines a lightweight, compact design with a high-speed retrieve and upgraded components for demanding freshwater and inshore spinning applications.

Inspired by Abu Garcia’s Revo® and Zenon™ platforms, the Max Elite features an A-Symmetric C6 Carbon frame paired with V-Rotor and V-Spool designs. The 4000H weighs just 9.3 ounces, helping provide a balanced setup for repeated casting and active lure presentations.

Smooth operation comes from a 9+1 stainless steel bearing system and AMG 2 Gearing System. The high-speed 6.2:1 gear ratio retrieves 38 inches of line per turn, allowing anglers to quickly recover slack, work faster presentations and get a lure back in position.

The Carbon Matrix™ Drag System provides up to 14 pounds of maximum drag, while Rocket Line Management™ and Rocket Spool Lip Design™ help manage line during casting and retrieval. A machined aluminum braid-ready spool and tubular carbon fiber handle complete the performance-focused design.
